SITE UNDERGOING CONSTRUCTION - BORED WITH THEME & kids want personalized pages (oh boy)
We just got back from an AWESOME trip to Brazil! Matt & Fernanda got married on June 12th in Rio and it was absolutely phenomenal! It has been decided that we need visa's for the chef at Ipanema Restaurant (so I can eat Picanha all day), the bartender girl from the wedding, the hair/makeup lady, Fernando (our tour guide), and a nanny.
Rio was really cool landscape-wise - rainforest, mountains, beach and metropolitan all within minutes of each other --- we do mean minutes! It was amazing to look out one side of the apartment and see the beach a block away and go to the back windows and see the Tijuca National Forest! It was winter there - meaning 70's & 80's & we only had a little rain one day.
The wedding itself was incredible! Fernanda looked absolutely beautiful and Matt was happier than I have ever seen him (with one tiny exception on 11/7/94). The church was covered in gorgeous flowers & it smelled....running out of adjectives....heavenly! Reception was, literally, one huge party and a ton of fun.
Abby gave everyone a reality check - herself included I think. We knew she was pretty, but WOW! Shane is now in super Uncle stealth mode and has decided any boys looking her way are the enemy - poor Garrett ! Hahaha.
